Upholding Bill Eshelman's Legacy: Supporting His Family

Donation protected
“I heard the news. What can I do? How can I help?”
Bill dedicated much of his adult life as a Hospice Chaplain for Crossroads, offering compassionate support to patients and their families during their most challenging moments. Although Bill’s work on this earth has come to an end, his legacy continues to inspire us. As it says in Matthew 25:23, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Bill fought bravely against his brain cancer (Glioblastoma), often sharing that one of his greatest motivations was the desire to provide for his family. His wife, Amy, is legally blind, and their sons, James and Daniel, are still in high school. (Bill's obituary)

Funeral Costs
James and Daniel both work at KFC, where their manager, also named Amy, has helped them apply for assistance through the KFC Foundation for funeral costs. We remain hopeful for a positive response and extend our heartfelt gratitude to their manager for stepping in during this challenging time.

Financial Contributions
Bill was deeply passionate about his work, and the testimonials from families he served highlight the significant impact he made. Unfortunately, his battle with brain cancer left him unable to work for the last 16 months of his life. As the primary breadwinner, his absence places a heavy burden on Amy and the boys, particularly given Amy's condition and the boys' ongoing education. While we secured Social Security Disability and Medicaid for Bill, financial challenges persist.
Many find solace in contributing financially during times like these. If you feel called to help, please know that all donations collected (after GoFundMe fees) will directly support Bill's family.
One meaningful way to honor Bill is by addressing the concerns he held close to his heart: ensuring that Amy is cared for and that James and Daniel have the resources they need to thrive as independent adults.
To our friends and family, thank you for your love and support. Your willingness to assist Bill's family during this time speaks volumes.

Being loved is an extraordinary gift.
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God." (1 John 4:7)
Let us continue to share that love with one another.

Bill's light shines brightly within us, guiding us on this journey together.
