Helping Cortland's Texas Family
Donation protected
Many members of the Cortland family have been impacted in some way by the devastating effects of Winter Storm Uri. Hundreds of our associates and tens of thousands of our residents live throughout Texas and have endured unrelenting freezing temperatures, days-long power and water outages, frozen pipes, floods, etc. – over 900 Cortland families were devastated by the loss their belongings as a result of frozen pipes.
Worst of all, two of our communities – Cortland at Stonebriar in Frisco and Cortland View at TPC in San Antonio – suffered fires that became catastrophic due to frozen sprinkler pipes and citywide water shutoffs in the middle of the storm impacting the fire departments’ abilities to extinguish the fires, leaving hundreds of families who lost everything in the fire or were displaced from their homes.
We are working tirelessly to help our Texas Family in the aftermath of the storm and fires, but we need your help. Please consider making a donation to our Cortlandia Fund, a not-for-profit 501c3 set up to specifically help members of the Cortland family who have suffered extreme loss. In this instance, we’ve expanded the reach of the fund to include residents impacted by this storm and these fires as well. All gifts will be acknowledged as charitable contributions.
Together, we are #TexasStrong
