UPLIFT: Accelerator for Ukrainian Startups

TL;DR

Donate to support an "American-style" accelerator program for Ukrainian startups in Portugal, being run by a group of technology transfer professionals from the US, Ukraine, and Portugal. The program is being run through a non-profit, with almost all coaches and mentors working pro-bono.

As most of the world just celebrated Ramadan, Easter, and Passover with their families and loved ones, people in Ukraine are suffering from violence and destruction of an unjust and senseless war.

 

We are building an "American-style" accelerator program for Ukrainian startups in the areas that would be the most vital for the country both now and after the war will be won. That program is designed to include "soft landing" benefits in Portugal for those Ukrainian startups who would desire to establish their physical presence in EU (in addition to maintaining their home office(s) in Ukraine).

 

UPLIFT accelerator will ultimately help scale Ukrainian startups to become successful international businesses by utilizing Lean Startup model, custom-tailored coaching, mentoring, and access to key entrepreneurial ecosystems in the United States and globally.

 

Accelerator Program

We take early-stage/scale up startups to join our 3-month, mentorship-driven accelerator, providing access to infrastructure & network while getting coaching from top international experts, aiming to address US and European markets.

 

Participants will have access to soft landing services to help with transition and acclimation in Portugal, one of the best startup destinations in Europe.

We have partnered with a Ukrainian NGO "GOLOCAL", a non-profit organization headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine, that would receive 100% of your donations and disburse them for this endeavor. GOLOCAL has been reviewed by NGOsource in February 2022 and determined as equivalent to a Certified Public Charity (an ED certificate is valid through 12/31/2023 and is available in the NGOsource repository).
