Uplift Steven and Kaiser from Homelessness
Donation protected
Hey everyone! My name is Jael Benza. I live in a Fort Worth, Texas. A few weeks ago, I met Steven and his 6yo Doberman, Kaiser, outside of Qt on golden triangle. I felt like I had to go talk to Steven and see if he was okay. He told me he has been living on the streets for a couple months now, that he used to live with his mom but she passed away at the end of 2022 and was living in his car after he was evicted from the home. A few months ago his car caught on fire so they have been living outside since. An old friend of his moms reached out to me saying she knew him and that he was a sweet kid and had special needs. He is severely sunburned this news makes me just that much more devastated for him and his pups situation. Recently, with the heatwave hitting hard, his dog has been severely struggling outside. Steven is doing his best, but he urgently needs to find Kaiser a temporary home where he can stay safe and cool while Steven works on getting back on his feet. As much as I'd love to help, I don't have an extra room and I already watch dogs for a living. I've been able to provide them with a hotel for a night and give the dog a new collar and leash. Steven and I have reached out to all of the rescues in the area with either no response or the response that they are too full. With many wanting to donate to their circumstances I have made a gofundme for them. I am in hopes to make enough money to provide them with temporary housing and some food, clothes, etc. thank you for your donations, your kindness could really make a difference in Steven and Kaiser's lives.
