UPREP Class of 2020
Donation protected
The University Preparatory Charter School for Young Men in Rochester, NY congratulates the Class of 2020 on your hard work and accomplishments.
Covid-19 has stripped many of our 2020 graduates the opportunity to share in High School prom and graduation. The overall goal of the Media Day / Virtual Graduation project is to let our students know that we honor, appreciate, and are cheering for them as they enter the next phase of their life. The pandemic has impacted this entire world, but we have decided not to allow it to hinder us celebrating our students. Another goal was to create an experience that would not only rival their actual graduation ceremony but elicit the same sort of emotions the students would feel during a standard graduation ceremony.
In addition to our students experiencing Media Day and receiving their diploma, we would also like to help them get started on their way to financial responsibility and literacy by providing all of our Seniors with a scholarship to begin a Savings Account.
If you could support our GoFundMe by making a donation and then sharing it with your network, we would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5 helps us get closer to my goal! Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them.
