Uproar Needs You: Sustain Our Sanctuary

For over 9 years uproar has been an integral part of the DC LGBTQIA+ community. It has been a place of refuge to many people and has been a space where people have been allowed to express themselves freely. Many local LGBTQIA+ groups call uproar home and rely on the space for their community.

We have recently faced unexpected challenges and are asking for help from the community that we've given much to. We want to continue to be able to pay and support our staff and our community. All donations will be used to pay for these unexpected costs and will be used to improve the space for staff and patrons.

We want to continue to be a place where everyone feels they belong. We want to continue to celebrate the vibrant LGBT community and be a sanctuary for all as we move into the coming years. We love and appreciate our community and hope for your continued support.
