Help Tia fight cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Lisa and I’m reaching out to all with a heavy heart. I just found out my best friend, my baby girl, & my fur soulmate has cancer. My little Tia is in urgent need of getting her cancer removed. Tia is my rock. She always keeps me safe, calms my PTSD & anxiety & always keeps me laughing. She’s my service dog.

Tia came to live with me 5 years ago. She hasn’t always had the easy life. She was an abused & neglected dog in her younger years . They named her Pia which stood for Pain In The Ass. Thankfully she was rescued from that unloved, sad life. She found a new loving home with her Papa Karta. He changed her name to Tia which means goddess. Her new name fit her perfectly. Her Papa Karta unfortunately passed away and left Tia without a family. And that’s how Tia came into my life. I saw her photo and it was love at first sight for me. I wanted to make my home her forever home. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to open my heart and home to her. She’s been my everything after the untimely passing of my mom & brother. Tia has brought beautiful healing light to my life after so much darkness. Her presence in my home has made it just that. Our comfy home. She has been my bright, beautiful light. I couldn’t ask for a better companion to be able to navigate through this life.

During Tia’s annual visit to the vet, I was told about her cancer. The Vet advised me that immediate surgery is crucial to alleviate Tia’s pain. With the cost of pre-op, surgery, hospital, and after care is over $3,000.00.

I’m not the type of person to ask for help (ask the people in my life). So, asking for help and assistance is very difficult for me. But my Tia really needs it. I’m reaching out for your help in Tia’s cancer fight. I’m asking for your support and generosity at this difficult time.
