Help bring Ada home

Hello family and friends. It is with great sadness that I have to do this. For those of you that know me, know that when I make a true friend, you’re a friend for life and a part of my family. My family has accepted some of my friends into their life, just as if there were truly blood. This is the case for my friend Ada . I met Ada 29 years ago and has since been a part of my family. Ada came from a small family, and at the time it was actually just her and her mother. Ada  started coming around and she fit right in and even survived playing cards with my grandmother and aunts. My family has to come love Ada as one of their own. A few years ago her mother passed away and Ada rekindled her relationship with a her sister. She was happy and I was happy for her. In January of this year Ada decided to move to Tennessee where this family member was residing. She rented a car, packed it to the gills and only left room for her and her cat named Tiny. She loved him so much and he was the closest thing to her. She stopped at my house before hitting the highway, and I gave her hug and we said our goodbyes. That was seven months ago…Yesterday, I received news that Ada passed away. My heart is so sad that my friend is gone. Her sister unfortunately does not have the financial ability to aid in any way. As of now she is at the city morgue with no life insurance policy. The state said they would cremate her and bury the ashes somewhere unmarked. My friend deserves better than that, and it’s making this sad situation even sadder. I would like to pay for the cremation so they will send her home to us.
