Barbara (Perdue) Bost

Barbara (Perdue) Bost was born and raised in Minot, ND.  She is a very hard working, loving, caring, and compassionate woman.  She has been happily married to her husband Dwayne for 29 years. They are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters and new grandparents to a sweet baby girl. Barb is also a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.    

A few short weeks ago, at the age of 49, Barb was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She quickly traveled to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, for treatment and is scheduled to begin her first series of radiation/chemo Tuesday, May 19. The first round of chemo will last 5 weeks followed by an even more aggressive chemo treatment. Surgery to remove the cancer is step three. Barb has a positive attitude and is ready to fight for the opportunity to watch her grandaughter grow up. The treatments Barb needs will take time, and be very expensive. Our hope is to ease some of the financial stress these great people are under, and allow Barb to focus her energy on beating cancer.
