Urban League Sponsored Reading Literacy Event

The Urban League of the State of Arkansas is hosting a youth reading and literacy event.

The Urban League of the State of Arkansas is proud to announce its upcoming “Books are Us” a youth reading engagement event and book collection drive. The event is focused on highlighting the importance of books and improving reading literacy for elementary school children in Arkansas. The event will also feature free haircuts and nail styling for children.

 

There will be various engaging games and activities for children to participate in, all focused on improving reading, spelling, and comprehension skills. Children will also have the opportunity to receive a free haircut and nail styling.
