With my fathers recent diagnosis with cancer and continuing to fall further in debt that I cannot afford I am forced to walk away with nothing but the amazing memories, experiences and life skills from building this cafe from the ground up and the journey which blessed me with amazing customers and family I built with the community.

I have had to abruptly close down the Urban Luxe Cafe for good and in a massive financial bind. Things have been rocky since Covid in reopening and being behind on financial debts (89k Covid back rent) ($2988 electric) ($6800 taxes) and many misc bills. The landlords agreed to wipe out my Covid back rent liability and 5 years of rent liability on the new lease for handing over the keys and leaving my things behind. I still owe over $18k to cover the other portions on top of losing everything.

I would greatly appreciate any help to get me in a better place and able to move forward.

I can’t describe the feelings I have right now and how scared I am of what is next but this is my first step in asking for help.
