This crowd funding is in response to the rise in gun violence and gang activity among our youth within the Greater Toronto Area.
The money will be used to facilitate daily drop-in artistic programs that mold the young into righteous Mentors, while giving them the tools to succeed financially in the Entertainment Industry.
This is an immediate need. The violence in our city is ongoing. Not every piece makes it to the news or is even hyped. We must now come together as the community and make the sacrifice to get our young back on track.
Your giving means young people are in safe creative spaces instead of depressing hustle spots or around detrimental environments. That, for me and the rest of us at Urban Music Mentorship, is a huge step towards positive change in our city.
