We, at the Mental Health Association for Chinese Communities (MHACC), are reaching out to you to share a heartbreaking story and to humbly ask for your support. Your compassion can make a world of difference during this incredibly difficult time.

Last week, a tragic car accident in the Bay Area, California, involved two talented young women, resulting in one death and serious injuries for Mengyu Liu（刘蒙雨）. She is currently hospitalized in the Trauma Center, requiring extensive professional medical care. Mengyu's parents, who are still in China, are urgently trying to travel to the Bay Area to take care of her.

MHACC has started this GoFundMe campaign for Mengyu Liu, and all the funds raised will go directly to her and her family to support them through this difficult time. MHACC is the sole-appointed fundraising organization for Liu's family, and all your donations are 100% tax deductible.

Mengyu is a gifted young woman pursuing her Ph.D. dream, but this terrible accident has put her life on hold. With no family or relatives in the United States, Mengyu needs our help.

Together, let's show Mengyu and her family that they are not alone and that there is hope and healing during this unimaginably difficult time.
