Cindy's Financial Crisis after Strokes

Donation protected
My name is Cindy Jackinsky (Lambert) and I am 51 years old. At this age, I did not expect to have 2 strokes!! The first was minor, seemingly with no or minimal affects. The second they said was massive. I have since learned the hard way that they call these 'Brain Injuries'. I have some mostly short-term memory issues and some cognitive difficulties, and have lost 40% of my vision. Driving is out of the question for now, maybe permanently.
I've done everything I can to improve including losing 100+ pounds just walking and making changes to my diet! Many of you may have seen me walking up and down Matanuska.

I went from a very good paying job that I hadn't had long, to completely unemployed for more than a year now. I had credit cards paid down quite a bit and when this happened, they just filled right back up via interest. I thought I had quite a bit more time to save and had just gotten to a place where I might have been able to do so in a big way, but my job was stressful and it didn't end well for me.

I've filed for Disability and am awaiting an answer, but have learned it may be another few months before there is one, and the first answer is usually No. Even if/when you do get an approval, as I understand it, it may be 6 months before you actually receive any money. So it could be another year or even more, before there are any funds at all. As of October 10th, it will have been already a year since I applied.
Meanwhile, I've burned through what savings I did have, my mortgage is on Moratorium (there is a timer on that & I'm already almost $10k behind), all of my credit cards have defaulted, and Discover is now suing me. I expect Bank of America & Chase will not be far behind and there are a several smaller bills that need attention too.
I am also now on assistances I have not been on since I was a child living with my parents, and buried under mounds of paperwork that I now have trouble understanding. Including having to get some help to put together this Go Fund Me. I've run out of money and have been relying on friends who have already done more than I can ever ask or expect -or continue to ask.

I am desperately trying to not lose my house and hopefully not have to file Bankruptcy. The mortgage payment is cheaper than anywhere I could rent now. Rents in the area are DOUBLE my mortgage!!!

This is embarrassing to ask and I never thought I would be one of those people, but any donations you could afford, even $10, would be immensely appreciated.
If you can't I completely understand, maybe you would consider just sharing this instead. Everything helps!

Thank you!!!

Any cash donations will be used for Mortgage payments, Utilities and past due bills.
