Help David and Pauline in Their Time of Need

Hello, my name is Mike Tobbe and I am here asking for your help for my brother, David Tobbe.

Many of you know David well. He is a kind, giving, and overall, a heartfelt man. David has always been a hard worker, doing his best to provide for his wife, Pauline.

Recently, David and Pauline received some very devastating news. After months of Pauline complaining of a sore throat and headaches, the doctors confirmed this past October that Pauline has throat cancer. Since early October, Pauline has been at Rush Hospital where she was to receive treatment, first radiation, then chemo if necessary. However, she needed a feeding tube because she had become weak and undernourished. Once able, Pauline was transferred to a nursing facility where she would begin these treatments and continue with full-time care.

Just a week into November, Pauline was rushed to Christ Hospital from the care facility after doing scans for treatment results. They discovered the cancer had become stage 4, very aggressive, and had spread to her brain. At that time, she was also diagnosed with chronic liver disease.

Devastating enough as that was, just a few days later while on his job, David was involved in a car accident in which he was t-boned. Not only was David injured with multiple fractures of his pelvis, bumps, and bruises, his car was totaled. David is now out of work and will require home therapy for his injuries.

Pauline has returned to the nursing facility where Dr's hope to be able to continue radiation treatments.

My family and I are asking for your help as there has been no time given for Pauline. David, being stressed and heartbroken, would like to fulfill Pauline's last wishes. David may also be looking at an unseen amount in medical expenses depending on insurance final coverage. David doesn't ask anyone for help; he's a proud man, and you all know that. So please, if you can, please help David, and we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
