Urgent Aid for Jenn and Her Beloved Dogs

Donation protected
A very important member of our pet community needs our help! Jenn Rueli has devoted her life to helping other people and their pets. Some of her accolades include working at The Good Dog Spot for over ten years, volunteering at our local animal shelter, becoming an ABC certified dog trainer, becoming a certified Pet Tech-First Aid Instructor, and becoming a Fear Free certified professional. Jenn is the type of person who would give a complete stranger the shirt off her back and would do everything in her willpower to improve the life of any animal she encounters.

Jenn's 5 companion dogs, all of which are rescues from not-so-great previous living situations, have had a collection of serious health issues recently. This has resulted in a depletion of her emergency vet care funds rather quickly. Jenn prides herself on being able to pay her own way in life and is never one to ask for handouts. Up until now, Jenn has made ends meet for her dogs through any means necessary, even if it meant forgoing some of her own basic needs. Recent developments with one of her dog's health, however, have changed everything.

Last week, Waka, Jenn's rescue dog from Tobago, began to have some trouble with her eye. Waka's eye began to noticeably protrude from the socket. This resulted in an ER visit, followed soon after by a specialty appointment to New England Eye Care. It is never a good sign to hear from a specialist that the findings are unusual and it is extremely risky for them to perform the necessary surgery on the eye. Waka is now being referred to an oncologist for further diagnostics, including CT scans. It is suspected that the cyst or tumor behind Waka's eye is cancerous. As you can imagine, between the amount of diagnostics and specialty visits already incurred, plus the many to come, the veterinary bills are going to be astronomical for Jenn.

If you have ever been touched by Jenn's generosity yourself, or simply want to donate to an amazing human with a heart of gold, now is the time to help her in her time of need. Let's come together and help relieve some of the financial burden for Jenn so she can focus all her attention on Waka and not have to worry about if she can afford to give her the help she needs.
