URGENT AND DESPERATE PLEA

DEFRA have seized 4 of our puppies claiming they are too young - we only have 9 days to save them!

We have provided evidence to show they are older, however this has been disregarded. The puppies are 5 months old however DEFRA are claiming they are 3.5 months. AWRR would NEVER risk a dogs life by sending them too early.

DEFRA have now stated each puppy will need another Rabies vaccination as the one they’ve had is “invalid” due to the age they estimate them to be. They will also need to stay in quarantine for 21 days after this. If we cannot pay these fees the puppies will be classed as abandoned and possibly euthanised.

The adopters have worked tirelessly sending email after email to DEFRA involving their own local vets, vets in Romania and corresponding with their local MP.

They have been wrongly seized and will be terrified.

These puppies have already been abandoned once, we can’t let it happen again.

We are determined to support our adopters and help to pay the fees.
