Urgent Appeal for Support: Help a Photogr

I am Mahdi zourob, a passionate photographer from Gaza. My life has been greatly affected by the genocide war waged by the occupation on Gaza. Since the beginning of the war, I have lost many friends and acquaintances, as well as my job, which was my source of livelihood.

I had a big dream and was striving to achieve it despite the difficult circumstances, until the war stole it from me. I loved photographing food, cars, people, and everything beautiful in Gaza. I lost my father 23 years ago and my mother 13 years ago, but I remained committed to my dream despite all the difficulties.

The decision was difficult and painful for me, but now I am trying to find another opportunity. The occupation has left us with no other choice, as death surrounds us from all sides, and we live our days with anticipation and fear of the unknown.

After the invasion of Rafah, my family and I sought a safe place, moving to Mawasi Rafah, where the shelling continued and fear accompanied us. After artillery shells landed near us, we were forced to relocate again to Khan Younis and live in a tent.

Leaving Gaza and seeking a better life requires $5,000 per person, and we are a family of five: myself, my brother, his wife, and their two children.

After losing my mohter and father , I now live with my older brother's family. I have created this link requesting support and assistance. I hope you can help me and my family leave Gaza and escape the dangers of death that surround us every moment, in the hope of finding a better and more just opportunity. I want to continue my journey and my dream in photography and live under a safe roof like everyone else. It is an ordinary life and simple dreams, nothing more and nothing less.

Together we can do it. I hope you will help me save my life and the lives of my family and achieve my dreams and ambitions, as they, like everything else in Gaza now, are threatened with extinction.
