Urgent appeal: Help the family of Aya and Imad

Donation protected
I am Aya, married to Emad, and we have a two-year-old daughter named Lara. Our life was peaceful and stable, and we had a beautiful house that represented safety and warmth to us. We lived unforgettable moments with our family in that house. Our daughter Lara lived in peace and tranquility in her room with her toys and home, and she was deeply attached to them.

Then, the war on Gaza came. It destroyed her room, her warm bed, and completely destroyed our house. All of her belongings were burned. They forcibly evacuated us from our homes after demanding that we leave northern Gaza immediately. We left our house without taking anything with us, leaving behind our memories, money, and work. My husband managed his online business, but all the devices were destroyed, as was his father’s factory. Now we are without any source of income.

The war on Gaza turned our lives upside down. Our house, with all its beautiful memories, was completely destroyed in an instant. We found ourselves forced to leave the house without taking anything. I couldn't take my clothes, personal belongings, or even the memories I had accumulated over the years. I left everything behind in an attempt to escape an unbearable situation.

Life was not easy. My husband Emad lost his job at the fruit and vegetable company where he worked with his father, and it was completely destroyed, which had been our main source of income. Additionally, he had a side job as a Python programming instructor, offering courses in a place that was also destroyed by the war. He was proud of teaching others.

In addition to his teaching work, he was also a designer, producer, and digital content creator. Over the years of hard work, he built his personal accounts and YouTube channels. These channels were not just for entertainment; they were a personal school for him and a platform to express his creativity and passion.

There was no healthy food or clean drinking water. I used to get sick and couldn't find treatment. My daughter Lara also contracted pneumonia due to inhaling smoke from burning wood all day because there was no cooking gas. She would constantly cough and get sick. There was no medicine. The pollution was everywhere. The place was full of waste, with insects everywhere and sewage spreading. We were living an inhumane life. There was no clean water for my little daughter. No water for bathing, which caused skin rashes. Also, due to the lack of diapers, my husband and I had to make diapers from plastic, which caused severe injuries to Lara. There was no treatment available.

We exhausted our savings during the 8 months of displacement due to the high cost of living. Life was extremely difficult during this period, and we suffered greatly from the horrors of war. Now, I find myself and my family homeless, without even the basic necessities of daily life.

Amid this destruction and devastation, life in Gaza became impossible. Every day, our lives were threatened more by bombings and massacres happening around us. There was no safe place, and every moment represented a threat of death. We had no choice but to flee. We decided to leave Gaza and go to Egypt, hoping to find a safe place away from the fear and death that was threatening our lives at every moment. Our only goal was to save our lives and the life of our daughter Lara.

But life in Egypt was not easy. Although we found relative safety, we still face major difficulties in building a new life. We have lost everything, and we now have no stable source of income or even a permanent shelter. The cost of living in Egypt is extremely high, and we have no choice but to live day by day in difficult circumstances.

We have nothing now: no money, no home, and no source of income. We feel trapped in a cycle of loss and despair.

We now ask for your help and support during these difficult times. Your donations will help us obtain the basic necessities such as clothes, food, and temporary shelter. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a big difference in our lives and bring back some hope and safety.

We are grateful to anyone who can help, whether through financial donations or by sharing our story with more people. We believe that there are compassionate hearts that will open doors of hope for us again.

Thank you for your support and generosity. We look forward to better days thanks to your generous contributions..
