Support ProRescue in the Vanuatu Earthquke Aftermath.
Donation protected
A catastrophic magnitude 7.3 earthquake has struck Port Vila, Vanuatu, causing buildings to collapse, landslides, and widespread devastation. Communications are down, embassies have been evacuated, and rescue efforts are underway, but resources are critically stretched.
ProRescue, a 100% volunteer-based rescue service in Port Vila, is at the forefront of these efforts, working tirelessly to assist casualties, clear debris, and conduct search and rescue operations. They are highly trained volunteers in Urban Search and Rescue, Road Crash Rescue, Vertical Rescue and Water Rescue.
However, ProRescue urgently needs specialised rescue equipment and additional resources to respond effectively during this time of crisis. With limited resources and rising demand, your support is vital to help them save lives and assist the community.
How You Can Help
Your donation will go directly toward:
- Procuring life-saving rescue equipment (e.g., extrication tools, vertical rescue kits).
- Funding essential training to enhance response capabilities.
- Supporting operations in ongoing rescue and recovery efforts.
In times like these, every second counts. Together, we can ensure that ProRescue has the tools and training needed to save lives.
