Urgent Assistance for Howard's Loved Ones

One month ago, my world was turned upside down. My husband of 29.5 years tragically passed away in an accident. He leaves behind 5 children, one of them a minor child, a daughter-in-law and two son-in-laws, and 2 grandchildren. We have 3 more grandchildren due this year. He was also the main source of income. I have gone from $6,500 a month to $1,500 a month for income. Howard had lost his job at Christmas 2023 due to the company cutting back and closing down. We were without his income for almost 3 months. He had started a new job that he really enjoyed, but unfortunately, he hadn’t been there long enough for life insurance.
I had put a hold on mortgage payments until July, but now I have no way of making up the missing payments that are due by July 15, 2024. It’s going to total about $7,600 or else my home will be foreclosed on. I do have a job, but it’s not going to cover all my expenses. I am looking at going back to school to become a Pharmacy Technician. It’s a 9-month program, so I won’t have the extra income until it is completed. I could use a little hand up to get me through so I don’t lose my home for myself and my young daughter.
We do not want to have to move at this time. The prices for rentals are more expensive than my monthly mortgage, so it doesn’t make sense to change that. Our daughter just finished her sophomore year of high school. She is also enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at the local college. She just finished her first semester of that and will be continuing on this fall. When she graduates high school, she will only have 1 year left and then she graduates with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. I would hate to move out of her district and derail her future plans.
I will be forever grateful for any help I receive.
