Urgent Assistance for Marzouk's Displaced Family
Donation protected
My name is Chantal. My friend Kimberly and I are fundraising for Marzouk Suleiman Qudeih and his family who have been displaced by the occupation. This is their story translated to English:
---
Dear Friends and Supporters,
My name is Marzouk. Before the war, I was financially stable with a thriving farm and a store that sold meat and had freezers. However, the war has taken everything from me – my home, my livelihood, my possessions – and has plunged me into debt.
I am currently in Khan Yunis with my family. There is 11 of us including my parents, brothers, and their wives and children. In the beginning I was able to get my wife and baby girl to Egypt for safety, but we could not afford the exorbitant travel costs that escalated to $5,000 per person due to the conflict. The rest of us are unable to travel because the occupiers control the crossings, and they are closed to individuals and those who cannot afford it.
Before this devastating war, I was deeply involved in my community, volunteering in cultural, social, and relief efforts, and working in photography and editing. I lost my camera and laptop, yet I continued to search for donors to help displaced people in camps, preparing and distributing food, parcels, milk, and diapers for children.
The situation here is dire. Aid is not reaching those who need it most; it is often sold in markets at inflated prices. The few fair organizations are overwhelmed, and the lack of government control has led to exploitation and monopolization of resources. We are dying slowly, with many displaced and forced to sleep on the streets.
We urgently need your help to survive. If you can help to raise donations, it will provide us and those around us with food, diapers and other essentials we desperately need.

Thank you for your generosity and compassion during these difficult times.
Sincerely,
Marzouk
