My name is Yaschia Williams, and I am desperately seeking help for my daughter, Timaya Williams, who has been missing since June 2, 2024. Despite my timely report to the police, they dismissed her disappearance, assuming she simply ran away, even though she left her room untouched, indicating she intended to return. Timaya struggles with mental health issues, which I communicated to the authorities, yet they failed to issue a silver alert or provide information on her vehicle’s whereabouts, only airing her case on August 22nd after a paperwork mix-up delayed their response. As a working-class mother with no extensive social network, I am heartbroken and lost without my only child, and it was only through the kindness of a local resident and TikToker, SistaTiph, that I found guidance in the steps to take. While several organizations have offered support, I have been advised to hire a private investigator , but funding is a significant barrier, as I have no financial assistance available.
