Urgent Call: Abu Saada Family in Gaza Needs Help!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Yousif Abu Saada from Swindon in the UK and I’m raising funds for my cousins in Gaza.
Abdullah and his wife have 3 young children - Hala (11), Omar (9) and Zeina (4).
Before the war they lived a good, comfortable life. They had a home, a car and good jobs. They are well educated and worked hard to provide for their family. The last thing they ever dreamed of was asking for charity but now they have no choice.
Their home and car was destroyed and Abdullah was injured and now requires surgery outside of Gaza.
After their home was destroyed in the North of Gaza they obeyed the orders from the Israelis to move south. They stayed with relatives in Khan Younis, at the time designated as safe by Israel but that also was bombed. So they moved to Rafah, another “safe” area and lived in a tent until that area also came under attack. Once they realised Rafah wasn’t safe and as they were living in a tent through winter, they decided to move back north to Al Nuseirat.
Every day life is tough. They have no source of income, very little access to power, internet, food or drinking water. What little food etc that is available is incredibly expensive and they have no way to pay these prices. This proud, hard working family are now desperate and need our help; initially to fund the every day life necessities but also to get them out of Gaza and in to Egypt. Egypt are charging an obscene amount of money to allow anyone from Gaza to enter and it’s crucial we get the family out of Gaza as soon as possible. As we speak, areas around the family have been bombed in recent days and as you must have seen by now the hospitals are no longer functioning following attacks by Israel. To start with we need to raise £25,000 but this will likely need to increase to have any chance of getting my family to safety.
Please help me by donating what you can and by sharing far and wide with your networks.
