Të nderuar familjarë, miq dhe të gjithë ata që po na ndihmojnë në këto momente të vështira

Ne kemi nevojë për ndihmën tuaj urgjente! Sokol Ngjeliu ka luftuar me tumorin në tru që prej vitit 2013. Ai iu nënshtrua dy operacioneve për heqjen e tumorit dhe iu nënshtrua kimioterapisë në moshën 22-vjeçare.

Nuk kam takuar kurrë një shpirt tjetër me më shumë dëshirë për të jetuar. Ai arriti të diplomohej si arkitekt ndërsa ishte në trajtim, ka qenë gjithmonë pjesë e luftës kundër padrejtësive sociale dhe ata që e njohin, i dinë cilësitë e mrekullueshme që ai i ndan me të gjithë ata që takon!

Po e hapim këtë fond për të ndihmuar në mbështetjen e familjes së Sokolit dhe faturave mjekësore që ka të ngjarë t'i shkatërrojë ata si rezultat i betejave të vazhdueshme që kanë pasur gjatë gjithë këtyre viteve.

Ai e humbi punën dhe asnjë nga trajtimet nuk mbulohet nga sigurimi shëndetësor. Prindërit e tij janë të dy në pension dhe nuk mund të mbulojnë më këto shpenzime. Ai duhet të shkojë për një vizitë mjekësore jashtë vendit sa më shpejt për të përcaktuar nëse trajtimi më i mirë në këtë fazë do të ishte operacioni, imunoterapia apo DCVax-L.

Çdo ndihmë e vogël nga ana juaj do të vlerësohet shumë!

Dear family, friends and all those willing to help us with this challenge

Sokol Ngjeliu is 33 years old. Due to an initial misdiagnosis several years ago, and an inadequately performed operation, Sokol had to undergo brain surgery again. He is currently in need of accurate post-operative examination and treatment.

Sokol has managed to fight his battle with the brain tumor bravely. Even while on treatment he succeeded in graduating as an architect.

We have hardly met another soul with a greater desire to live a life that is worthy not just to himself, but also to anyone whom he can help or serve to the best of his abilities.

Those who know him closely testify to the valuable personality qualities and social values he holds.

Sokol is known to be a person driven by a sense of duty to others and the aspiration to see society arranged in a way that fosters confluence and brings out the best in people. He has made individual attempts and has been involved in various group efforts to achieve greater fairness and human synergy in the social environment.

A certain friend of Sokol’s has been very impressed by some significant moments and episodes in Sokol's life.

He wants me to point them out. One of them is the sensitivity and responsiveness Sokol has displayed to the needs of the vulnerable people living alone, during the pandemic lockdown and afterwards.

All of us, who have been able to appreciate Sokol's presence in our lives as a blessing, have been sorrowful about the unfortunate illness that has afflicted him.

Sokol wishes to hopefully be able to help others after the treatment. He would willingly be placing himself at the disposal of an initiative to assist and support persons and families in such great distress as the one which he and his family are facing.

Sokol lives with his parents who are both retired.

I am sharing this appeal to help support Sokol in his ongoing struggle, and his family with the staggering medical costs which have so far proven to be financially crippling for them.

Sokol recently lost his job due to his condition, while none of the necessary treatments are being covered by health insurance

We are hoping to be able to afford a proper medical examination and visit for him as soon as possible to determine the best treatment at this stage.
