Urgent Care for Benny's Broken Leg

Hello everyone,

My name is Vickie Oliver. My husband and I took in a stray, Benny as we call him now, on January 25th 2024. I have been working so hard getting him back to health with all his meds everyday, eye medication for his eyes that were so badly infected before, and sooo much time and effort that no rescue would have given him. He was a case of we take him in or someone will surely give up on him.

Today an accident happened that resulted in Benny having a broken leg in two spots. He is going to be kept over night for 3-4 days and will have surgery. We didn’t want to make a gofundme but with just taking a week to donate time to North Carolina and it being our slower season, we need it. Please if you can help we would appreciate it and I know Benny will too he loves everyone that he meets and it breaks my heart to see him like this. I got him to a vet in 1 minute that’s how fast I was driving from our house. This dog has become a favorite of everyone in the area.
