URGENT CARE for Star Anise

Star Anise is a ten year old stray who requires immediate, life saving measures. She is in severe pain due to Pyrothorax, a bacterial infection in the chest cavity. . The vet believes that this was the result of a bite wound that punctured her chest wall, ruptured, and abscessed into the chest cavity. This sweet little girl weighs 4 and a half pounds and had 48 mls of pus drained from her chest today. If she is to survive, she must have a thoracostomy tube placed to flush and clean her chest cavity and remove pus as it re-accumulates.  This can only be done at a round the clock, specialty center. Star Anise is safe from life on the streets, but may not survive without specialized care. Please help us fund this vital procedure for this beautiful and deserving senior girl.
