Urgent Care for Wildfire-Displaced Cats

As a former Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician myself, the effects of these wildfires hit particularly close to home.

Countless pets, especially cats, are left displaced and in need of urgent medical care. The purpose of this fund is to provide temporary shelter and veterinary care to these vulnerable animals, and we need your help.

The devastation caused by these wildfires extends to the lives of countless pets, and we feel a deep responsibility to step in and help. Pawsome Smiles 501c and My Pet Mobile Vet have partnered to bring some much needed relief to our feline friends in their time of need.

While the full scope of needs is still coming into focus, your generous donations are vital to ensuring we act in a fast and effective manner to provide the support where it's most needed.

Cats will need a designated recovery center that is safe and quite to heal from the emotional, psychological and physical trauma they encountered during the wildfire and while evacuating to safety

We are aiming to raise $25,000 to ensure these cats receive the care they need. Here’s how your donation will help:

Shelter & Supplies: Temporary housing, including cat-friendly spaces, bedding, and litter supplies.

Your donation will directly support our efforts to offer shelter, medical care, and a peaceful environment for these animals in order to give them a safe space to rehabilitate and recover.

Funds will also be used to pay for food and medications for a group of fosters that are also donating their time to assist.
