Urgent Care Needed for Misha the Cronk Cat

Hello everyone, my name is Michelle Wong and I am a sophomore in Currier House at Harvard. Misha, better known as CronkCat or Cronk Fairy, is my one-year-old Siberian cat that I recently adopted as an emotional support animal to stay with me at Harvard. However, the past two weeks she’s been with symptoms of vomiting and soft stool. In the last few days, she has been refusing to eat and vomiting so I took her to the vet for the second time and we found out that the problem is much worse than I could have ever anticipated.

Misha is suspected to have FIP by her vet, also known as Feline Infectious Peritonitis. This fatal disease progresses quickly leaving cats diagnosed with FIP less than two weeks to live after diagnosis.

Her current vet bills have already amounted to over $1800 and with the recently discovered cure in 2024 for FIP; however, like most life-saving medications, the vet estimated the cure to cost $3k.

As a college student myself from a low-income family, I would be so grateful for any kind of donation to help with Misha’s diagnosis and treatment as the ultrasound/x-ray’s required to diagnose will cost around $1.2k as well. The total expected cost for all of this will be near $5-6k, so anything would help as a broke college student on financial aid.

Time is of the essence right now as if it is FIP, Misha only has approximately 2 weeks left to save her.
