UPDATE: Oh my goodness! YOU amazing people have smashed it in just over 24 hours! All the cats and we are hugely grateful for all your support in getting them the help they need. The cost to Kings Heath Cat Rescue for this colony alone so far is over £9000, and with so many other cats already in the rescue needing help, we have upped our target to £6000 at the request of generous donators who want to help for this appeal. Come on you lovely cat lovers, are you upto the challenge, let's make this happen for these beautiful cats who deserve their happy furever after.

Hi. We are desperately trying to raise money for Kings Heath Cat Rescue . We found a colony of extremely poorly cats & kittens in Tyseley, Kings Heath Cat Rescue have managed to save 30 of these poor cats and kittens from a life of suffering and misery so far but we still have another 20+ to save. The cost of this is phenomenal to the rescue with several needing very expensive vet treatment to save their lives and stop the suffering. Poor kitten Alfred has had to have an eye removed at a huge cost to the rescue. The cost of vaccinating, neutering, microchipping, boarding, feeding is obviously having a huge impact on the rescues funds who are quite frankly now drowning in the cost. There are still 20 cats within this colony that need trapping and rehabilitating, so we are desperate for funding to save the ones left behind. Any donation big or small will mean we can make this happen for the remaining 20 to get them healthy, neutered and into the loving homes they deserve. Kings Heath Cat Rescue agreed to take this colony when no other rescue was able to, due to the severity and sickness of the cats and kittens involved. Please let's help them carry on this amazing policy of not turning away cats no matter how hard it is for them. All this suffering is unfortunately due to people not neutering their cats, the severity of sickness, dead kittens, poorly moms, disabled kittens is heart breaking.
Thank-you for taking the time to read our story and a massive thank-you from us and all the cats for donating.
