URGENT Christians need sustainable food source
Tax deductible
URGENT, our ministry in India finds itself in need of providing a large-scale sustainable food source for the Christian community we serve. Christian persecution in India has been an ongoing issue. We have been blessed and have worked very hard to maintain good relations with the Hindu Government officials in our ministering areas. We greatly respect them and have worked to be a blessing to these communities. We have partnered with them to put fresh water wells in surrounding poor areas and have provided clothing and food to orphans and those in need. We have also trained widows to support themselves and their children as seamstresses. They directly result from Christian persecution as their husbands were murdered for their faith.
Recently the one source of daily wages for Christians has been threatened due to this religious persecution. Members of the Sikh community where the labor market exists suggest that Christians no longer be hired and can no longer do day labor. This means that Christians will have no ability to make the wages that feed their families and no availability even to access the markets where the food is sold.
For this reason, we are seeking to raise funds to buy some land, five acres, where we can plant our own products, provide work for the Christians, sell in the market, and give to the poor.
ABOUT US:
More information about Faith Harvest Church: Faith Harvest Church shares the Gospel message and teaches a biblical worldview through our radio program Chosen Generation Radio which interviews guests on various topics, always coming back to the Bible. We are also reaching the continent of India, caring for the poor, distributing food, housing orphans, teaching widows how to sew, putting in bore wells and preaching the Gospel. We partner with local Pastors and Churches to provide food and fresh water wells and support local ministries.
