URGENT! Disaster Relief for Gazan Family in Rafah

Donation protected

Shadi and his family have been displaced for a 7 times since the start of Israel's war on Gaza. He is currently in Rafah, where more than half of Gaza's 2.5 million people are packed, along the border of Egypt.

Isreal recently released its plan to carry out a ground invasion in Rafah, the most densely packed region in Palestine. Since then, they have killed 67 Palestinians, many of whom were children. Israel's terrorist attacks will continue, and the cost will be the innocent lives of defenseless Palestinian refugees.

Shadi and his family have relocated several times and are living in unbearable conditions. People who are trying to bring in relief packages from Egypt struggle to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians when they are being bombarded by airstrikes and ground attacks. Food and vital resources are scarce and often unattainable.

Other sources of goods and services have cost barriers. Shadi obviously has no income during this time, which means he, his wife, and 3 small children rely on OUR donations to survive.

Shadi faces another challenge, on top of all this. His baby boy, who had open heart surgery a few months before the War on Gaza, has been unable to receive essential medical care. His baby's health is failing, and if he cannot access medical treatment, his chances of staying alive are slim.

Shadi is a remarkable and devoted father. He has risked traveling back into Gaza on different occasions to different hospitals, advocating for his son and searching for adequate medical care.

Unfortunately, the services were unavailable, and he was told by doctors that his son would need to go abroad for treatment.

Shadi regularly calls and messages me with updates about himself and his family. Yet, he always starts the conversation with a kind greeting, a well wish to me and my son, then asks about my health, and how my day is going. It is an honor to know a human being such as Mohammad exists in this world and it's such a shame that he is being robbed of simple life's pleasures such as the warmth of a bed, or a delicious homemade meal with his family. Instead, he has to fight so hard to live another day to suffer in this war alongside those he loves.

I am trying to raise $50,00 US dollars for him and his family. This money will be used for his son's medical services as he needs emergency open heart surgery in Europe. Also, donations will help by reducing any cost barriers there may be in accessing basic resources at this time. Depending on how much and how quickly the money is raised, he could afford the arrangements necessary to cross the border into Egypt and be free from terrorism.
