URGENT: Drinking Water for Abbotsford Animals
Donation protected
There is an urgent need to deliver fresh drinking water to animals that are unable to be evacuated in the Abbotsford flood of Sumas Prairie. The water line to Sumas Prairie has been shut off and animals are without water. Getting drinking water to these animals ASAP is critical to their survival.
Working with a group of community volunteers, we have arranged a tanker and boats to deliver the water and have already begun operations. There are however costs, including the water itself, that are being incurred.
We do not know how much it will be at the moment and are seeking to initially raise $5,000 to pay for this.
If we raise more funds than required then the excess funds will be donated to registered charities in Abbotsford that are assisting with the flood recovery and animal welfare.
Thank you for your support!
