Urgent Earthquake Relief for Myanmar
Tax deductible
Hi, I’m Hoss, based in Melbourne. I’m a long-time supporter of Better Burma and have followed their work closely through their podcast and social platforms. I’m not officially affiliated with them, but I believe in their mission and their grassroots response to this crisis.
Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Better Burma’s three-phase relief effort—starting with immediate aid (food, water, medicine, tents, generators), followed by long-term recovery and community rebuilding efforts.
Myanmar (Burma) is facing a crisis on top of a crisis.
Already reeling from a brutal military coup and ongoing civil war, the country is now devastated by a deadly 7.7 magnitude earthquake. The humanitarian emergency in Myanmar continues to worsen. Thousands have been displaced, families are separated, and basic necessities are out of reach. Entire communities are overwhelmed, and they need our help and attention.
Better Burma, a podcast I have been listening to for a while which covers not only spiritual but social aspects of Myanmar, is launching a rapid and strategic response, grounded in a three-phase plan to provide emergency relief, support recovery, and build long-term resilience.
Phase 1: Emergency Relief
We are addressing urgent, life-saving needs:
Food | Clean Water | Medicine
Tents | Baby Formula & Diapers | Hygiene Kits
Mobile Toilets | Generators | Concrete-Punching Machine to recover bodies
Open a Better Burma Emergency Clinic
This phase will last approximately 2 months, with extensions if needed.
Phase 2: Recovery and Reconstruction
As emergency needs stabilize, we’ll help affected communities rebuild their homes and lives. This phase may last 6+ months, depending on conditions on the ground.
Phase 3: Sustained Recovery & Community Resilience
Once structures are restored, we focus on the future — helping people heal and thrive:
Ongoing Healthcare | Trauma Counseling
Livelihood Support | Education for Children
Our goal is to foster long-term stability and dignity in these communities.
Your support is urgently needed.
Every donation goes directly to Burmese-led efforts responding to this catastrophe. No amount is too small.
