Urgent: Emergency Tree Removal Funds Needed ASAP

This broken tree is very tall, heavy, and hanging on by a thread. It is poised to damage my house—it would likely fall into the two back bedrooms and destroy a section of the roof, along with the neighbor’s new fence and likely a portion of the back of their home as well. The neighbors are sleeping in their living room on air mattresses right now because they’re so afraid of it, and with every storm the tension rises. It’s already causing the brittle pecan tree that borders our properties underneath in to begin to lean. The house is all I own and all I have. I don’t have any money. Even if my boyfriend and I saved every penny from every paycheck, forgoing all other bills, groceries, utilities, etc, for several months, we still wouldn’t have enough money. It’s a complicated job that will likely involve a crane and other heavy duty equipment. We received an estimate from a certified arborist for about $5000 minimum. Even if it fell and our home insurance would cover some of the damage, we would not have the funds to meet our deductible and pay the out-of-pocket costs. Any loan we could potentially qualify for, including a home equity loan, would 1) be something we could not afford to make monthly repayments on and 2) would take two weeks or longer to approve, and this massive broken tree is so precariously balanced and barely intact where the broken half connects to the trunk. Time is urgently of the essence and I don’t know where else to turn, as no one in my immediate family has any financial aid to offer me. Please help. Any donation, however small, helps Trent and I immensely. If this tree destroys my house, it will essentially destroy my life—and it’s possible that it could also very literally result in bodily harm.
