Dear Friends and Compassionate Supporters,
My name is Ziad Okasha from Gaza , Palestine. Currently living in Belgium.
I'm reaching out to you today on behalf of my dear friend, Zaher okasha, a resilient and courageous man living in Gaza. As many of you know, Gaza has been deeply affected by ongoing conflict, and Shady is one of the countless people whose life has been turned upside down.
Shady’s home, the place where his family found comfort and safety, was completely destroyed during the recent war. His car, which was his primary means of transportation and livelihood, was also reduced to rubble. Now, Shady, his wife, and their two beautiful children—a young boy and girl—are living in a tent, struggling to meet their basic needs.
Despite the overwhelming challenges, Shady has remained strong for his family. But the situation is dire. The tent provides little protection against the elements, and their current living conditions are far from safe or sustainable, especially for the children.
Why We Need Your Help
Shady’s family is in desperate need of financial assistance to rebuild their lives. Our goal is to raise enough funds to help them secure a safe place to live, restore some of their lost belongings, and provide the children with the stability they so desperately need.
The funds raised will go directly toward:
Rebuilding a home: We want to help Shady and his family construct a modest but safe and secure house where they can start to heal and move forward.
Basic necessities: Funds will also be used to purchase essential items such as clothing, food, and household goods.
Educational support for the children: We hope to ensure that Shady’s children have access to the education and resources they need to thrive despite these challenging circumstances.
How You Can Help
No contribution is too small—every dollar brings us closer to getting Shady and his family out of this terrible situation. Whether you can give $5, $50, or $500, your generosity will make a tangible difference in their lives.
Please also consider sharing this fundraiser with your network. The more people who hear Shady’s story, the faster we can reach our goal.
Final Thoughts
Shady is a kind, hardworking man who has always put his family first. Now, they need our help to rebuild and reclaim their lives. Together, we can provide them with the hope and support they need to get through this difficult time.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
Ziad Okasha
