Urgent Family Reunification Appeal

Donation protected
Hello to all of you kind-hearted souls who come across this Campaign.
My name is Piaras, I am from Ireland and reside here in Ireland also.

I am launching this Campaign on behalf of my dear friend Mohammed in the hopes that we can raise the required amount to help his family evacuate from Gaza and move to the safety of neighbouring Egypt in order to give their children a chance at a life without such suffering and trauma which they have been enduring for the last 6 months.

[About Mohammed]

Hello everyone,
I am Mohammed Fouad, an engineer who specialises in digital marketing and training solutions for many non profit organizations within The Gaza Strip.

My Family’s story is one of loss, yet an unbreakable determination to survive and to give all of our Children a better future, this is why we need your assistance in our time of need.

Currently, my Family is surviving through conditions that no Human should ever have to witness, never mind endure.

My Family consists of Myself, my Wife Israa, and our two boys Fouad [6 years old] and Abdulrahman [3 years old].

My extended Family consists of my Mother Mona, My father Fouad, Sister Aya [23 years old], My Brother Mahmoud [18 years old], and my youngest Sister Malak [14 years old].

Over the past 3 years we had poured all of our earnings and savings into the construction of our dream home and we were so delighted when we finally finished the build and decorated our home for our young family to move in.

One month later, War broke out on October 7 th 2023. Initially we had opened our home to other Families who were fleeing from the worst affected areas and who were seeking refuge.

Unfortunately, it didn’t take very long before the Israeli
forces instructed us all to move south, and so, we became displaced and had to walk away from our dream home and from our hopes of a bright future for our children in Gaza City.

Over the following few weeks, we were displaced 4 more times before ending up in a makeshift shelter in Deir al-Balah.

Very soon we faced the brutal reality of our new struggle to just provide the daily essential needs to keep our young children alive.

There have been many days where we all had to go without food or water and more days in which myself and my wife went without any sustenance in order to give our young children the
small amount of nutrition that we could source on those days.

Our children became ill many times, picking up diseases that spread throughout the area and also they suffered from high
fever regularly.

I am very passionate about sharing Cultures and all of life’s experiences.

Over the last 5 years I have had the pleasure to create post-graduate training programmes and to teach these classes to the recent graduates in order to help them develop the skills needed to start their careers online and to assist them in achieving their goals and finding employment.
This is my biggest passion, helping others to achieve success.

My Sister Aya is a graduate of The University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza City and had just taken up her first employment in her specialised field of Multimedia technologies one month before the war began in October. She hopes to find another opportunity soon to start a career in Graphic design.

Yes, we are a very close family but we each have our own stories, our own dreams and our own desires to succeed in life in our own individual ways, as well as a collective Family unit.

Just recently, Myself and my Wife Israa managed to evacuate Gaza with our two young children and now we must try every possible way to bring the rest of our family here to the safety of
Egypt and to escape the daily horrors that are inflicted upon them in The Gaza Strip.

And so we turn to you, Our Global Family, in the hopes that you might be in the position to help us in our hour of need and to give our Family some hope of a brighter future and to live in safety as everyone deserves from this life.

I have included a detailed breakdown of the costs associated with every stage of our plan, from evacuation to rebuilding and getting back on our own two feet once again and becoming
self-sufficient.

The Evacuation fee is €4,610 per adult (6 adults), €2,305 per child (3 children)

€34,540 for the Evacuation Fee

Additionally, we estimate the costs of living in Cairo and reviving my company for three months:

The Need: A Detailed Budget for Urgent Relief for 3 months
( All costs converted from $ - € )
- Rent & Utilities: €1,105/month
- Food & Water: €740/month
- Medical & Hygiene: €275/month
- Clothing & Misc.: €185/month
- Educational Materials: €100/month
= Costs of living total €7,215

The target is €34,540 +€7,215 = €41,775

I am eternally grateful for any contribution that you can make, no matter how modest it may be, and I hope that the generosity that you show our family will return to you tenfold in your own life.

My deepest gratitude to you all for your time to read about my family and for your support also.

May life send you only blessings,

Yours gratefully,
Mohammed Fouad
