A new, secure school for children in rural Kenya.

Hello, my name is James Muggoch; I'm collecting donations for the Agape Academy in Mitaboni, Kenya.

I've been working with the school now since 2021 and we have (with generous donations from you) managed to weather storms, floods and the worst famine Kenya has seen in many years. So a heartfelt thank you to those who have helped in these times.

Now we have found an opportunity to relocate the school. Kenya still struggles with a multitude of crippling factors. As such, the school, which is on rented property, is subject to massive increases in rent each year. Adding to this is the governments wish to take half the land off of us in order to widen the road which runs alongside.

There are many children in the surrounding areas who aren't getting an education. Additionally, as the school feeds the students twice a day, many children who aren't in school, do not eat regularly and struggle for water during the dry season.

We managed to purchase an acre of land nearby and have started construction on a new school, a larger school. One that will hold over twice as many students. As it will now be situated on owned land, the site is far safer from government and landlords alike.

We are so close to reaching our goal. With your help in donations, we can see the school finished far sooner than estimated and give up to 350 children consistent food, protection, education and clean water.

All we need now is money for a kitchen block, blackboards, desks and doors for the classrooms.

I work closely with the schools founder and clinician, Barnabas Mutua, who purchases the necessary materials and ensures all the money donated goes to the right place, including sending receipts for all purchases.
