Urgent : Food, Water and Textbooks

Hello, my name is James Muggoch; I'm collecting donations for the Agape Academy in Mitaboni, Kenya.

Initially, I was funding the refurbishment and building works of the school structures from January 2022; I was there for the month and have continued to support the necessary improvements since. But now, as a great deal of East Africa is facing starvation due to massive drought, I'm looking for help to keep the children and teachers fed and with access to clean water whilst they try to survive the current climate.

This ongoing project will improve educational standards by donating funds to buy textbooks and materials.

However, the situation's urgency calls for that to be put on temporary hold whilst we find enough funds to purchase grain, flour, rice and water. Food is becoming increasingly scarce as crops fail, livestock is dying at an alarming rate, and the prices of simple foodstuffs are climbing higher each day.

I work closely with a coordinator in Kenya, a local clinician and benefactor of the school, who purchases the necessary materials and ensures all the money donated goes to the right place, including sending receipts for all purchases.
