OurStory:
Saba Homes/Saba Trust, founded by Saghir and Bushra Aslam, has been working in Pakistan since 1965 to help those in need. In 2005, a devastating earthquake struck Pakistan, leaving an official death toll of 75,000, thousands of people were left destitute. This calamity prompted Saghir and Bushra to open their home and headquarters of Saba Trust in Rawalpindi to orphan girls. Over the next year or so, plans were formulated to create a full-fledged residential and educational facility for girls and from there Saba Home was born today Saba Homes stands as one-of-a-kind model for developing the human capital of Pakistan by demonstrating that even the least advantaged, and often neglected, members if society can be nurtured into confident, positive, and active members of society. Saba Homes Invests in the least advantaged of today to produce the most advanced leaders of tomorrow. Saba Homes is a 501(c) 3 registered (tax-exempt) non-profit organization in the United States.

Unlike a traditional orphanage that provides basic shelter and sustenance, the Saba Home is truly a home. A girl or boy who is taken into the Saba Homes is treated the way one would treat one’s own daughter or son. By providing love, support, and educational opportunities, Saba Home invests in girls and boys who will become the shining leaders of tomorrow. Saba Homes children are from all over Pakistan from ages 3 years to 20 years old. Currently, We have 40 Orphan girls and 15 orphan boys at Saba Homes with many children on the waiting list due to the need for more resources (funding). We also have 410 plus orphans in our outreach project throughout Pakistan who are living with a legal guardian but Saba Homes provides for their Food and Education.

Saba Homes is a state of the art facility, catering to the needs of orphan girls and boys in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Saba Homes is a place for orphan girls and boys to call home rather than a typical orphanage equipped with Common rooms where various training, lectures, and discussions take place. The facility also offers clean bedrooms with air conditioning/heating. Each room accommodates 6 children next to each bedroom is the room for a "Room Mother" who is a woman that is employed by Saba Homes to look after it's children around the clock. Saba Homes also has its library, Playground, modern Kitchen, dining room, it's very own tailor shop within the facility where Saba children's clothes are tailored and to ensure the safety of Saba Children we have security guards on duty around the clock in shifts.
Your contributions/Support will continue to provide these children with a safe and secure place to call a "Home".

Child labor is the odd of the day. In some instances, throughout Pakistan and other undeveloped countries, orphans are forced into child labor missing out on their basic right to education. Saba Homes provides the orphans with high-quality private education, after school tutors, and also Islamic education. Last year one of Saba Home's eldest daughter who came to Saba Homes at the age of 10 years old was accepted to one of Pakistan's accredited universities (Pictured in the upper corner with Mrs. Asalm). With your support, these orphan children will continue to excel, achieve their dreams, and reach their highest potentials of becoming future leaders of tomorrow. "When you empower a woman you empower a nation".
At Saba Homes we make it our priority that the orphans are fed three times a day with nutritious and healthy meals prepared by an experienced chef. Nutrition plans are designed by our nutritionists to ensure no child is malnourished and meets the growth charts. During Ramadan, Saba Homes children are served Sahoor (Sehri) and a variety of healthy food for Iftaar. During the blessed month of Ramadan Saba Homes feed 400 plus needy people iftaar daily. Your generous support is needed to continue to feed the Saba children and needy individuals in Ramadan and otherwise. “Among the best deeds is to feed the poor and the deserving...” (Bukhari)

In addition to a safe home, quality education and healthy food, at Saba Homes we offer a variety of programs for the Saba girls and boys personal, mental and intellectual development such martial arts for their safety and defense (the majority of our Saba children are black belt champions), Saba children also enjoy field trips to the zoo, historical sites, adventure parks, etc. On Weekends they are treated to Mac Donald’s, Halwa Puri breakfast, ice cream, etc.. During the Summer School Vacations Saba boys and girls take part in various extra circular activities such as home economics, arts and crafts, Islamic lectures, tree plantation (part of our Keep the Earth Green initiative), Yoga classes, Mental health and emotional healing classes to help them recover from incidents or trauma (losing a parent or both parents) that occurred in their lives before coming to Saba Homes and much more. Your support is crucial to ensure that these children can continue to benefit from these services without any interruption and also the orphans on the waiting list can have access to a better life.
