Greetings and Salam everyone,

I am Heba Z. (Ismail) Abdelnaby, a graduate student from Gaza currently studying in the US, and I am reaching out to request funding assistance to evacuate my family from Gaza, who are currently facing dire and life-threatening circumstances amidst the ongoing conflict.

My sister Duaa Z. Abushosha , along with her husband Anas Abushosha and their four beautiful children, nephews Abdallah and Nouraldin and nieces Sarah and Salma, have been enduring unimaginable hardships in the northern region of Gaza. Displaced multiple times, they have sought shelter in schools and other facilities that have become targets of attacks, leading to further displacement and destruction of their temporary shelters. Compounding their situation, my nephew suffers from asthma, requiring medical attention unavailable in their current location. Additionally, they narrowly escaped death during the bombings and violence in the north area.

Furthermore, my father Zakaryia Ismail, a cancer survivor with chronic health issues, along with my two younger siblings Ibrahim Ismail and Randa Ismail who lost their jobs and belongings, are currently displaced in Rafah and are facing imminent danger from airstrikes. The atrocities occurring in the region are grave, and the safety of my family is of utmost concern.

Unfortunately, anyone attempting to leave Gaza without a foreign passport is being asked to pay exorbitant fees ranging from $7,000 to $9,000 per person to cross the Egyptian border.

The goal of this fundraising campaign is to relocate my immediate family, which consists of nine family members. Any additional funds raised beyond this amount will be used to relocate and support our extended family members, totaling over 50 people.

- Current Situation: Displaced and facing grave danger from airstrikes.

Proposed Budget Breakdown:

1. Evacuation Costs:

- $9,000 per adult (x5 adults) = $45,000

- $4,000 per child (x4 children) = $16,000

2. Stay in Egypt:

- Rent for accommodation: $500/month (x3 months) = $1,500

- Medical expenses: $500/month (x3 months) = $1,500

- Basic necessities: $500/month (x3 months) = $1,500
