Urgent Support for Daniel Gómez’s Funeral Expenses

Unfortunately, on July 8th, my husband Daniel Gómez, age 37, tragically passed away while protecting us from his stepfather and mother. His sacrifice, risking his own life to ensure our safety, reflects the deep love and commitment he had for our family.

Although Daniel’s sister-in-law, organized a fundraiser for a memorial in Daniel’s honor, the funds raised were not used to cover the funeral expenses as required. Instead of using the $10,123 raised for the funeral and other necessary costs, she allocated the money to purchase a memorial bench in a park, and the destination of the remaining funds is unknown.

As a widow, I am currently facing an overwhelming financial burden due to legal and funeral costs. Therefore, I have decided to start a new fundraiser to cover the actual expenses I have incurred, which include:

- Funeral and cremation costs

- Memorial service to honor Daniel’s life

- Legal fees to ensure justice for his tragic death

- Providing a safe and stable environment for our family during this challenging time

Lamentablemente, el 8 de julio, mi esposo Daniel Gómez, de 37 años, falleció trágicamente mientras nos protegía de su padrastro y su madre. Su sacrificio, poniendo en riesgo su propia vida para garantizar nuestra seguridad, refleja el profundo amor y compromiso que tenía por nuestra familia.

A pesar de que su cuñada organizó una recaudación de fondos para un memorial en honor a Daniel, los fondos recaudados no se destinaron a cubrir los gastos fúnebres como se requería. En lugar de utilizar los $10,123 recaudados para los costos del funeral y otros gastos necesarios, ella destinó el dinero a la compra de un banco conmemorativo en un parque, y el destino del resto de los fondos se desconoce.
