Urgent fundraising for funeral and family support.

With heavy hearts, we reach out to share the devastating loss of my beloved cousins, Reetik (Age23) and Rohan (Age 22), and their dear friend Gaurav (Age 24), in a tragic car accident in Brampton. This calamity has abruptly ended their vibrant lives, leaving our family and their friends in profound grief.

In the early hours of Thursday, our world was turned upside down by a severe vehicle collision on Bovaird Drive and Chinguacousy Road, Brampton. The devastating impact resulted in the loss of Reetik, Rohan, and Gaurav, who were pronounced dead at the scene after the vehicles tragically crashed into a pole. The shock of their sudden passing has enveloped us in sorrow, struggling to find words to express our anguish.

During this harrowing time, we are faced with the immediate and pressing challenge of managing funeral arrangements for Reetik, Rohan and the repatriation of Gaurav's body to India, where his family is mourning. The financial implications of these arrangements are overwhelming, compounding our grief with a sense of helplessness.

In this moment of dire need, we humbly ask for your support. Your donation, no matter the size, will significantly alleviate the financial burden on our families, enabling us to provide Reetik, Rohan, and Gaurav with the respectful farewell they deserve. It's a way to honor their memory and support their grieving families in both Canada and India.

Gaurav's approx. expenses for transferring the body to India would be around $12,000 and the funeral cost for Reetik and Rohan would be approx. $16,000 ($8,000 each).

We have raised the Goal to $65,000 approx, so that the remaining amount would go to their parents.

This tragedy has brought us to our knees, and this is happening for the first time but it is the compassion, kindness, and generosity of our community that gives us hope. Together, let us embody the spirit of unity and support that defines us in these most challenging times.

I wanted to clarify that I am raising this Fundraise on behalf of Reetik and Rohan's Family and Gaurav's Family.

Reetik and Rohan were my cousin brother's (My Maternal Uncle's sons) and Gaurav was their Roommate and our good friend.

Please Note that both the families are going through a very difficult time, so please reach out to them only incase of any emergency or help.

*Latest Update* - Reetik and Rohan's mom and dad have landed in Canada this morning i.e. 10th Feb around 8:00am. We arranged their transfer and they are currently living with me and my family in Brampton. The funeral date is still to be decided, However, the Funeral will be conducted at Brampton Crematorium & Visitation Center (Address: 30 Bramwin Ct, Brampton, ON).

Also, the same funeral house and authorities are arranging for Gaurav's Body transport to India.

Also, as mentioned above already, once all the Funeral and body transportation expenses are done from the fund, the remaining funds collected will be equally distributed amongst both the families through Bank transfers.
