Dave’s Medical Expense Fundraiser

Update: We are sad to announce that our Dad & Step Dad Dave passed away before he was able to be transferred to the Acute Care Rehab Center. Dear friends and family,

We are in urgent need of financial assistance for our Father and Step Father Dave who has been in the Hospital for months fighting for his life.

We are at a transition in his care where the current Medical team in Oregon feel his best hope for recovery is for him to be transferred to a long term acute care rehabilitation facility in Redding California.

We have been notified that insurance will not cover his transportation by ambulance to his new medical facility. It will cost 15,000.00 to transport him from Bend, Oregon to Redding California.

His health is greatly compromised & requires high levels of oxygen due to lung damage. With that being said, It's not safe for him to be driven by car to Redding & why the urgent need for medical assisted transportation.

We have just been notified that he will be transferred on Monday, May 13th to the new medical facility in California.

As a family we are so grateful that we can honor his wishes by being able to have him placed near family in Redding and appreciate all your help in assisting us in that endeavor.

Please lift Dave up in your thoughts & prayers for his safe transfer to Redding & for his overall improved health.
