Urgent Help for Asmaa's Displaced Family

Hi, my name is Christine, and I live in San Francisco, California. I am fundraising on behalf of my friend Asmaa, her children, and her family. Asmaa and her sister have shared with me many details about their situation, which you can read directly from them below. We have spent time on video calls where she has introduced me to her family. Asmaa's Story:

I am Asmaa, a separated mother raising two children on my own. I had been suffering for a year before the war because of my separation from the father of my children. We migrated from northern Gaza to the south.

My brother was martyred in cold blood when he went to our house that they demolished to bring us food. He was our first support after God. We are now homeless.

My father is old and sick and needs constant treatment. We live in a tent in difficult and harsh conditions. I was cruel to my children who developed rashes due to poor living conditions and unhealthy food. My children miss treatment. I cannot buy it due to its high price.

أنا أسماء، أم منفصلة وأربي طفلين بمفردي. كنت أعاني منذ عام قبل الحرب بسبب انفصالي عن والد أطفالي. هاجرنا من شمال غزة إلى الجنوب.

استشهد أخي بدم بارد عندما ذهب إلى منزلنا الذي هدموه ليحضر لنا الطعام. وكان سندا أول لنا بعد الله. نحن الآن بلا مأوى.

والدي كبير في السن ومريض ويحتاج إلى علاج مستمر. نعيش في خيمة في ظروف صعبة وقاسية. لقد كنت قاسية مع أطفالي الذين أصيبوا بالطفح الجلدي بسبب الظروف المعيشية السيئة والطعام غير الصحي. أطفالي يفتقدون العلاج. ولا أستطيع شرائه بسبب سعره المرتفع.
