Urgent Help for Connie and Doug's Medical Crisis

It is with a very heavy heart, after 9 days of being in the ICU… my nephew Doug is headed in the wrong direction. He went into the hospital on Nov. 2nd with pneumonia in both lungs and sepsis all in his bowels. They immediately put him on a ventilator and oxygen to help him breathe. They’ve slowly improved in the first 5 days until he began to aspirate and go backwards. He’s now back at 90% oxygen and worse off now than he was when he went in.

My sister Connie refuses to leave his side. She cannot work to pay her bills and has already lost a child 30 years ago. She’s been a single parent to Doug his entire life and she’s genuinely scared for his life. He was born at 24 weeks at 2 lbs 4 oz and he’s got Cerebral Palsy, Autism, & Schizophrenia. He’s only 23 years old, he was her miracle baby, and we’re not sure of his direction at this time with all the complications he is facing.

Doug and Connie are Christians and Douglas always tells me he has Jesus in his heart. ♥️ If you could please, please pray for them both it would mean so much to our family. Thank you so very much for those heartfelt prayers. If you have anything to help Connie with her mounting bills, that would be greatly appreciated too, as she will not leave Doug’s side to work as he’s in a very severe state. Connie is a respite caretaker for Veterans. Her heart is bigger than the mission itself.
