Urgent Help for Dena's Cancer Treatment

This is Ken Shipley, and my wife Dena was diagnosed with Bile Duct / Liver cancer last week. I never thought we would ever need to do this type of thing, but we are up against a wall now. While we have insurance, it is not accepted by MD Anderson. So, we are getting insurance via Dena's company, Mustard Seed Soap Company, with Blue Cross Blue Shield so we can go to the best hospital in the world for this. This new insurance will be a PPO which MD Anderson accepts and will allow us to get going and quit wasting precious time to save her life.

However, the monthly premium for this is out of our range so we decided to ask for help. The monthly for this is 3,000/month not including our part and deductibles.

For those of you who know our little family, Kayden had brain surgery about 6 years ago to remove part of her brain that was causing multiple seizures, daily. While that surgery did help and has allowed her to not regress, the seizures have all the sudden started again as of last month. This all started before we found out about Dena's cancer. We have an appointment back at Texas Children's in Houston in late August. She was on Medicaid for the first 8 years of her life and most was covered during that time. She is not on that any longer and will be on this new insurance we are getting set up with. This will also help with her situation when that time comes because Texas Children's accepts this as well.
