Urgent help for Easton's Medical Expenses and Family Support

Hi! My name is Jessica. I have been friends with Maria and Easton for over 15 years. I've had the privilege of witnessing their early beginnings during courtship and early days of shenanigans, into what has flourished and blossomed into one of the most sincere and loving relationships (and marital union) that I've ever known!

However, on September 11th, 2024, just a little over a week away from their 5th wedding anniversary, an unfortunate event would turn their worlds upside down and change things forever. Maria received a call in the early hours that Easton, the love of her life, was at work when a machine malfunctioned and blew up in his face. A highly corrosive chemical spewed in his face, causing severe damage to both of his eyes. He was admitted to the ICU where he spent several days, with an uncertain prognosis. However, not much could be done to prevent the vision loss. He went from having perfect 20/20 vision in both eyes, to no vision whatsoever in the right eye, and extremely limited vision in the left eye. Until the chemical burns to his eyes completely heal, he must remain in completely dark environments and cannot allow any sun or bright lights to enter his eyes.

The pain he is experiencing during this wait and see period, is unimaginable. Physically, mentally and emotionally. The Benitez family is trying to remain hopeful that he will regain some vision in the left eye but only time will tell.

Easton is Maria's rock. Best friend. And nurse. See, Maria has her own medical battles and is currently unemployed due to her condition and not being cleared to go back to work yet. Easton was the sole provider for the family before this unfortunate incident.

This is the hardest thing they have faced together as a family. Easton is a proud man and is trying to keep his morale high, but his family is in diré need at this time. Easton will need help to cover medical expenses and the numerous tests that lay ahead for him.
