Urgent Help for Emilia's Recovery from Hit-and-Run Injuries

Hi, my name is Emilia, and I’m reaching out to you during one of the most challenging times of my life.

On November 24th, while attending college in Charleston, I was struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident. The impact left me with fractures in my spine and other serious injuries that will require long-term medical care and rehabilitation. As much as it pains me to share, I currently have no health insurance to cover these mounting expenses.

The driver who hit me fled the scene and later fled to another state. While some assistance from the insurance company may eventually come, it could take up to a year, and I urgently need help now to cover my medical bills, therapy, and daily living costs.

To make matters even harder, my family is going through a difficult time. I was raised by a single mother who recently lost her job, and we’re struggling to stay afloat. Without the ability to work due to my injuries, I’m left with no way to help ease the financial burden on my family.
