Hello, I am raising money for my daughter Hala and her 3 children. I knew that there were issues at the duplex she is staying in and that she has been telling the landlord about them, and he kept promising to do something and has yet to. Well, a couple of weeks ago, she sent me some videos of what is really going on, and it hurt my heart. I asked her why she hadn't told me it was that bad before now. She started crying and said she was embarrassed and didn't want anyone to think she was nasty because she isn't by any means. No one deserves to live the way they are having to. She filed a complaint with codes, and they came out the very next day. They said she shouldn't be paying him anything until all of what is going on is dealt with. They sent him notification of what all needs to be done and a date to have it done. He has yet to do anything other than have her served with a court date to be put out. She has had to throw a lot of things away and will not be able to take anything with her when they have to move. She is number 16 at a complex, but that doesn't help her now.
These are her 3 children in the picture. Layla is 6 years old, Aiden is 3 years old and has ADHD and autism, and Isaiah is 2 years old. Aiden has started school and is doing very well. I hate the thought of him having to change schools since he has adapted so well, and Hala doesn't trust just anybody with him.
She is going to need all the help she can get from finding housing to money to move in and starting all over getting stuff. If you can find it in your heart to help in any way, I know she would appreciate it so much. If you would like to see pictures or videos, feel free to reach out to me, and I will be glad to show you. I don't want to expose it on here.
God bless you all!
