Urgent help for Jenifer Lewis and children

My name is Chuck Taylor and I am seeking to raise money to help my daughter not lose her lawyer and ultimately her home. She is in the middle of a difficult divorce initiated by her husband of 14 years. There are 2 children involved, my grandchildren, Jacob and Emma who are suffering through this too. This nightmare began almost a year ago when Jenny’s husband decided to use a family gathering, knowing we would all be together and occupied for most of the day in celebration of July 4th, to pull up in a Uhaul truck to his front door and load up all his belongings. My son who lives in the same neighborhood just happened to drive by the house before coming to the family gathering and saw the truck and immediately called Jenny. When she raced home she confronted Ben and was told by him (without any warning or previous discussion) that he had decided to leave her and the children. If my son had not seen the truck and called Jenny, she and the kids would have come home to a half empty house that day and no clue as to why or where Ben was or why he had left. That was just the beginning of this tragic story. Ben served her with divorce papers a few months later. Because of other events by her husband, Jenny’s initial retainer of $5200 was used up trying to defend herself and her 2 children. Jenny is in the final stages of this case and it should be over within 6 weeks. She has maintained from the beginning and repeatedly told Ben that she still loves him and does not went to separate from him but to no avail. Her lawyer has basically said that she must come up with $2250 now and the balance of $2250 in 30 days or the lawyer will drop the case. Jenny reached out to the county legal services but they said as long as she has a lawyer handling the case they cannot even talk with her about anything and they also said that if she is dropped by her present lawyer they can not guarantee that they could even take her case. I had to put the first retainer amount on my credit card because she has no resources but that is pressuring Patti and I to cover the minimum payments living on social security and a part time job alone. We need a miracle…so I am asking my friends and family if there is any way you could help us in this present need, we would be eternally grateful. I have never done anything like this before but I felt compelled to put Jenny’s need out there in hopes some of our friends and family could help us make this happen. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Jenny’s legal defense fund. We are trusting our Lord Jesus Christ is in control of all of this but wanted to make the need known for your consideration.
